Parmesan cheese is a hard, dry cheese made from skimmed or partially skimmed cow's milk. It has a hard, pale-golden rind and a straw-colored interior with a rich, sharp flavor. None is more exquisite than Italy's preeminent Parmigiano-Reggiano which comes from the Emilia Romagna Region.  Its complex flavor and extremely granular texture is a result of long aging – at least 2 years or more.  Our Imported Parmigiano-Reggiano can be used in many dishes, from soups and salads to pastas and risottos.
